Eyeful Gallery is proud to present in the Month of June, Josh Sands with a solo show of new work entitled, “Hyperbole.” Speaking briefly with the artist he had this to say about the show.
“Humor and whimsy entirely overwhelmed my process when creating these works. What is here on display is a series of 3 dimensional sculptures that act like 2 dimensional collage. Combined with my natural tendencies of embellishment, and experimentation with borosilicate glass as a sculptural medium.”
A series of cut and paste paper collage was also hung on the walls seen in conjunction with the 3 dimensional objects. These works complimented the sculpture by adding further dimensions of fantasy and absurdity to the viewer.
